| | C4 Wins the MHJJ Award
Community Counseling Centers of Chicago (C4) was recently recognized for its Mental Health/Juvenile Justice Initiative at the Chicago Council on Urban Affairs’ 24th Annual Neighborhood Awards Dinner on October 21, 2003.
C4’s Mental Health/Juvenile Justice Initiative provides screening, assessment and linkage services to youth in the juvenile justice system who have also been identified as experiencing a major mental illness.
Accepting the award on behalf of the MH/JJ Initiative was Tony Kopera, C4’s President and CEO. The Guest Speaker for the Dinner was Illinois Attorney General, Lisa Madigan.
In attendence with Tony Kopera and Lisa Madigan were Mark Argulles, Urban Market Manager of Pepsi Americas, Inc., and Lee Ann Trotter, News Anchor/Reporter for Chicagoland Television (CLTV). |
