URGE GOVERNOR TO CONTINUE FUNDING

Doomsday is here! Because the state legislature failed to pass a budget by July 1, C4 is NOW turning away people who need our help. Staff members are being laid off.

About 1,200 people in dire need of mental health and substance use services have been informed they can no longer turn to C4 for help. As of today, they are ineligible to receive counseling, medication and support services

C4 will no longer be able to offer sliding scale or offer services to anyone without Medicaid or private insurance.

IT IS NOT TOO LATE TO RESTORE THESE CUTS.

Here's What You Can Do NOW:

- Urge Governor Quinn to approve continuation funding for human service cuts until budget disputes are worked out.

--Urge Governor Quinn to veto any budget that does not restore these cuts.
