Time Off Benefits

Paid Time Off (PTO)

Paid Time Off is a bank of hours for personal, vacation, and sick time.  Accruals for full-time regular employees is as follows:  

    * During 1st year:   132 hours
    * During 2nd year:   176 hours
    * During 3rd, 4th, 5th years:  220 hours
    * During 6th year and thereafter: 264 hours Eligible employees do not accumulate more than 160 hours at any time.

Extended Sick Leave (ESL)

Extended Sick Leave is a special bank of hours to be used for illnesses beyond 3 consecutive days. Full-time regular employees accrue up to 48 hours per year of ESL to be used after the 3rd consecutive day of illness.  

Holidays

The agency observes 9 holidays annually:

    * New Year’s Day
    * Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day
    * Presidents Day
    * Memorial Day
    * Independence Day
    * Labor Day
    * Thanksgiving Day
    * Day after Thanksgiving Day
    * Christmas Day

Training Time

Full-time regular employees are eligible for 40 hours training time per year. E-learning, in-house classroom trainings, and Lunch ‘n Learns are also available.

Bereavement Time

Full-time regular employees are eligible for 5 days bereavement time for immediate family members. 

Jury Duty Time

C4 will pay an employee’s regular salary for jury duty. 

Flexible Benefit Plan

C4's Medical Insurance Contribution:

HMO coverage and $1,575 in credits (prorated each pay period for calendar year 2009) are provided at no cost to the employee.   

Health Insurance

Coverage begins on the first of the month which directly follows completion of a 30-day waiting period.  Individual or family health insurance is for HMO and PPOS Plans are provided by Blue Cross/Blue Shield.  Prescription Drug Coverage and a Vision Discount Program are included.

Dental Insurance

The dental DMO benefit plan is administered through Guardian Life and the dental PPO benefit plan is administered through Delta Dental.  

Health FSA

Eligible employees can make pre-taxed annual contributions up to $8,000 toward medically related expenses that are not covered under agency’s insurance plan.  

Dependent Care FSA

Eligible employees can make pre-taxed annual contributions of up to $5,000 ($2,500 for married individuals filing a separate return) toward Dependent Care Expenses All regular employees employed at 30 hours or more are eligible. 

Other Insurance Plans

Life Insurance

C4 provides life insurance at the rate of twice the employee’s annual salary, up to $200,000 at no cost to the employee.

Disability Insurance

Full-time employees are eligible for both short-term and long-term disability, after completing 6 months of employment. 

Other Benefits

Tax Deferred Retirement Plan

C4 employees are immediately eligible to participate in a tax deferred retirement plan.  Up to $15,500 plus an additional $5,000 for employees over age 50 may be invested in a C4 Plan.

Direct Deposit

Direct deposit of payroll is available

Employee Assistance Program (EAP)

C4's Employee Assistance Program is a free service designed to offer confidential and professional help to employees and members of their families who need assistance with personal problems.  

Domestic Partner Insurance

Domestic Partner medical and dental insurance is available.
