re-integrates into the community mentally ill adults who have been adjudicated Not Guilty by Reason of Insanity (NGRI) of an offense from the Forensic Units of Elgin Mental Health Center. This is achieved by conducting weekly pre-discharge groups providing case management services, and consultation with Elgin and residential staff to prepare an acceptable discharge plan for presentation to the court at a conditional release hearing.
