provides comprehensive substance abuse services designed to help individuals, couples and families achieve, and then maintain, a drug-free and healthy lifestyle. Services are available in English and Spanish and include comprehensive assessment and referral services, early intervention, supportive outpatient, intensive outpatient, psychiatric evaluation and ongoing medication monitoring services, individualized treatment plans, HIV pre-and-post test counseling and testing services, case management, and referrals to Twelve-Step/self-help support groups. Special services are also designed to meet the needs of the dually diagnosed (substance abuse and mental illness) as well as consumers involved the criminal justice system, the Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS), and Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF). Harm reduction interventions are provided for clients who are not yet ready or able to maintain a drug - free life.
