C4 Named Affiliate of National Parenting Initiative

C4 has been named an affiliate of the National Effective Parenting Initiative, an umbrella organization of educators, child advocates and mental health professional dedicated to making healthy parenting and parenting education a societal priority.

Annual Report Wins International Design Award

C4’s 2005 annual report was honored this fall with a Daveys Award in an international competition sponsored by the International Academy of Visual Arts.

Designed by mc2 Communication Consortium, the publication won a silver award in the competition, which was judged by media, advertising and marketing professionals.

Mc2 Communication Consortium, founded by Chicago designer Michelle Crisanti, was honored with three other silver Daveys, a competition specifically launched to honor the achievement of smaller design firms.


Local Foundation Responds to Crime of Sexual Violence with Grant to the Quetzal Center of C4

Chicago, IL – Community Counseling Center of Chicago (C4) recently received a grant of $25,000 from the Grant Healthcare Foundation to support the Quetzal Center. The Quetzal Center was established by C4 in 1983 in response to the community’s need for specialized sexual assault services.
