| TRAINING OPPORTUNITIES |
| | C4 established an Agency Training Committee in June 2005 to centralize all agency training activities. This includes maintaining the posting of all agency training events via an automated training calendar that includes both internal trainings as well as community-based agency training events open to all C4 staff.
Some of the current internal trainings offered include substance abuse treatment, domestic violence and trauma trainings, gang violence prevention, to name a few, as well as community-based trainings about basic safety and CPR. C4 Internal trainings provide Continuing Education Credits (CEU's) for Social Workers and Professional Counselors.
In addition C4 is in process of launching the Continued Learning computer software program beginning January 2006 which will give all staff easy access to a more broader range of educational opportunities, for example, clinical topics such as Crisis Intervention, Psychiatric Medications and Brief Solution Oriented Therapy as well as courses related to issues involving Corporate Compliance, Safety and Work-place concerns. New employee orientation as well as ongoing clinical trainings can now be accomplished in a more systematic way.
