FREE Youth Mental Health First Aid trainings at C4

Youth Mental Health First Aid is an 8-hour public education program which introduces participants to the unique risk factors and warning signs of mental health problems in adolescents, builds understanding of the importance of early intervention, and teaches individuals how to help an adolescent in crisis or experiencing a mental health challenge.

Peirce School Students Raise Youth Mental Health Awareness & Funds for C4

Peirce Elementary School, located in the Andersonville neighborhood of Chicago’s North Side, has a remarkable student-led service learning after school club called Life Service Action.  Each year, the group selects a cause to learn about and support.

Remembering former C4 CFO Tory Ruder

Victoria (Tory) Ruder, age 58, passed away on April 28, 2018.  Tory was the long-time Chief Financial Officer of Community Counseling Centers of Chicago (C4).  Tory's impact on C4 went beyond her dedicated service as CFO during her time with the agency. She worked tirelessly toward seeking funds that provide opporutnities for many who would otherwise not have the help they need.
