Kerri Brown – President & CEO
Kerri Brown became President and CEO as of August 2021. He joined C4 in February of 2021 as the organization’s Chief Operating Officer and as part of the massive turn-around happening in the organization. Previously, he was the Vice President of Operations at HRDI (Human Resources Development Institute), whereas his previous roles saw him as Chief Administrative Officer, Director of Human Resources, and Associate Counsel, in addition to his past profession as a First Lieutenant and Engineering Officer in the Louisiana Army National Guard. He earned his Juris Doctorate from Southern University Law Center in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and his Master of Laws (LLM) degree in Real Estate from John Marshall Law School here in Chicago. Kerri is licensed and in good standing with the Illinois Bar Association, as well as being certified in an impressive array of professional institutes and programs.
Kerri’s professional strengths lie in his internal and external interpersonal skills, while he has also managed large-scale projects from inception through implementation. His administrative responsibilities have enabled him to work with such internal functions as: facilities, purchasing, human resources, information technology, food services, and transportation.
Kerri was born and raised in Louisiana and became a Chicagoan after falling in love with the city while attending John Marshall Law School. He lives in and now serves the Northside of Chicago with his beautiful wife Rachel and his four daughters.organizat
Patrick Dombrowski – Chief Clinical Officer
Patrick Dombrowski joined C4 in August of 2018 as the Director of Crisis Services and was promoted to Chief Clinical Officer in June, 2020. He is an LCSW with a significant history in providing community-based services and program oversight for those confronting homelessness and populations with diverse mental health needs. Additionally, Patrick has significant clinical expertise in crisis intervention and risk assessment, overseeing crisis programs in both the community and hospital. Patrick has a Master’s Degree in Social Work from the The Ohio State University and graduated in Non-profit Leadership from Spertus Institute. Patrick foundationally believes that recovery from mental illness is possible and ensures that all clinical staff at C4 avoid pathologizing those they treat. Patrick has significant training and focus on trauma, complex posttraumatic presentation, and dissociative conditions. He is from Grand Rapids, Michigan, and lives in West Humboldt Park with wife Ami and two kids.
Doug Myers – Chief Financial Officer
Doug Myers is a healthcare Executive with 25+ years as a Chief Executive, Chief Operations Officer and Chief Financial Officer. His experience spans profit, non-profit, adult, and pediatric acute care facilities and systems. He is an expert communicator and relationship builder. He establishes and implements strategic priorities and operational improvements with a focus on financial stewardship. He is a recognized leader in the development of collaborative approaches in healthcare delivery with physicians, related organizations, and competitors. He has served as a regional CFO for 2 of the biggest for-profit systems, HCA, and Tenet.
Doug joined C4 in June of 2020 as part of the massive turn-around acting as temporary CFO and fell in love with the company. Now he is the permanent CRO (Chief Revenue Officer) and C4 could not be happier to have him. Doug lives in Corpus Christi, Texas and telecommutes to Illinois most days. He lives with his wonderful wife, Stephanie of 10 years, and has five children and one grandchild. He is an avid runner and has completed seven marathons and many, many triathlons.
Joel Murray – Vice President of People, Human Resources
Joel Murray joined C4 also as part of the turn-around on July 20, 2020 as our VP, People in Human Resources. Joel is a senior certified HR professional with 15+ years of experience in human resource management. He has a proven track record of development and implementation of HR strategies and initiatives aligning with the overall business strategy. He is adept at addressing demands and issues, problem-solving, conflict resolution and team management. Joel has a strong background in development, engagement, motivation, and preservation of human capital. He has solid expertise in presenting information to a diverse audience and is academically founded in Human Resources Management.
As the head of the HR team, Joel oversees all HR functions including but not limited to recruitment, performance management, employee relations, retention, engagement, and payroll. He brings a sense of joy and peace to the office and is a pleasure to be around and has brought others like him into the HR Team. Joel lives in Chicago with his fiancé Keith and their two dogs.
