“Back to Basics”: C4 Kicks off Mental Health Awareness Month with Resource Fair

To kickoff Mental Health Awareness Month, C4 hosted a resource fair outside of our Belle Plaine office in Northcenter Square to bring together fellow behavioral health providers and community partners. In the spirit of this year’s theme, Back to Basics, the evening celebrated the healing and restorative action of being outdoors within the community and coming together once more.

The evening was also an opportunity to thank two strong advocates of mental health services and close partners of C4: 47th ward Alderman Matt Martin and Pat Casey. Alderman Martin’s legislative priorities include investing in comprehensive and quality mental health services as an integral component of public safety and health. Likewise, Pat Casey has supported C4 for many years, providing pro bono legal counsel and supporting the agency’s growth.
